We’re looking for a Business Analyst (ideally based in Lahore or willing to relocate) to bridge the gap between clients, stakeholders, and the development team. This role involves gathering requirements, analyzing business needs, translating them into clear technical documentation, and ensuring project outcomes align with client expectations.
The ideal candidate is analytical, an excellent communicator, and skilled at converting complex business problems into structured, actionable insights for technical teams.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Engage with clients and internal stakeholders to gather, clarify, and document requirements.
- Analyze business objectives, processes, workflows, and pain points to propose effective solutions.
- Prepare comprehensive documentation, including BRDs, SRS, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
- Collaborate closely with development, design, QA, and project management teams to ensure shared understanding.
- Translate business needs into detailed functional and non-functional requirements.
- Create wireframes, mockups, or process diagrams when required to support understanding.
- Participate in sprint planning sessions, requirement grooming, and deliverable reviews.
- Validate deliverables against requirements to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Assist in risk identification, requirement gaps, and feasibility assessments.
- Communicate updates, progress, and changes clearly to clients and the internal team.
- Support continuous process improvement by identifying inefficiencies and recommending enhancements.
Requirements and Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and presentation abilities.
- Understanding of web, software, and API-based systems (no coding required).
- Experience creating user stories, workflows, and requirements documentation.
- Familiarity with project management or collaboration tools (Jira, Asana, ClickUp, Miro, etc.).
- Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple requirements simultaneously.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.
