We’re looking for a Full Stack PHP Developer (ideally based in Lahore or willing to relocate) to develop, maintain, and optimize web applications using PHP-based technologies for the back-end and modern front-end frameworks. This role involves building new applications, improving existing systems, and ensuring seamless integration between client-side and server-side components.
The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of independently handling full project lifecycles, including UI/UX improvements and database management.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy web applications using PHP and front-end technologies, including Tailwind CSS.
- Build responsive user interfaces and implement server-side logic.
- Work with databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and ensure optimized queries.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and fix bugs or flaws in code.
- Ensure all inputs and API requests are validated and secure.
- Write unit tests and maintain test coverage to ensure stable and secure applications.
- Create technical documentation for all components and features.
- Maintain and upgrade legacy PHP applications when needed.
- Collaborate with designers, project managers, and QA teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Stay updated with latest PHP frameworks, front-end technologies, and best practices in full stack development.
Requirements and Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as a PHP or Full Stack PHP Developer.
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of PHP and PHP frameworks (Laravel, CodeIgniter, Symfony, etc.).
- Proficiency in front-end technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Vue, or similar.
- Experience with databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and query optimization.
- Experience in creating REST APIs and integrating with third-party services.
- Knowledge of unit testing, debugging, and version control systems (Git).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Understanding of UI/UX principles and web performance optimization.
